Finally got a set, quite happy. They are just Morimoto MH-1's with 4300k XB bulbs and 6000k smd LED halo's in black Harley Davidson headlights. Shrouds are mini gatling painted flat black. There are better projectors out there, but I just got a stupid good deal on the whole kit. $150 shipped to me for everything!

I have a question for you retrofitters. I am retrofitting a set of 2010 f-150 spyder headlights with Morimoto Mini H1 6.0 projectors. The lights are for a buddys truck but he is not skilled in this. My question to you is that when he has his low beams on, if he turns on his high beams, will it turn off the low? the projector is a bi-xenon which im sure you all know. If so, is there a way to keep that from happening?

Look up sir Speedstang he has done this exact thing to his truck with spyder lights and should be able to help you
I sent back harness that came with the quick retrofit for the spyder lights. I am using just the harness for HIDs as if the high halogen beam on the spyders isn't there. Hi n low R hid. Hid stays on the whole time n shield flips down for hi beam.
I didnt want the crappy hi beam halogen hooked up. If I could go back i wouldve retrofitted my factor lights instead of buying the chinese crap. If u got it from TRS tell them u want harness for ur truck for hid's only.
If your wanting only hid low beam n then the halogen hi beam, not sure if that can be done. For starters, don't hook up the solenoid for the hi beam shield actuator. N you would have to ask TRS bout the rest. Prob not good for the hids if they turned off every time u flicked to hi beams. Not sure if that's what ur askn. Shoot me a pm if u have any questions.

Not sure of exactly what he meant either (and I agree that rapid HID switching is very bad juju), but regardless, any switching arrangement can be easily done with a mildy custom harness, if something can't be cobbled together from available standard components in the TRS harness section.
