Spoke to Alan Pinter today. Seems like a pretty cool guy. He cant get the build #s but he can get you plaques and all the other nik naks. He's sending me a bunch of Harley Stuff from different years including the kit that I should have got with the truck. The only thing is that he said that he is gonna leave the build number blank. He asked if I wanted something else engraved there instead. I said no. Leave it blank and ill try to figure it out.
I asked about HALO and he said that it is the first letter of each owners wifes name. Nothing Godly or about ford. It doest exsist anymore. Its now Beanstalk. They are still doing the rest of the Harley Vehicles. He said that Fords research and Development is who calls or sends him the info to put together for each truck. He said to call Research directly and not go thru the other departments. Anybody know the #? I forgot to ask. I left his # in my office but Ill post it Tomarrow. I dont think its the same thats on here.
Man I hope I get some good SH IT. What did the 01 come w/? He said "a bunch of Harley ****" so im hopeing for more then the kit.

Db682, definately post that number. I wanna try to get a keychain cuz the plating on mine was chipped in places and the black was off in a couple spots (no big deal, but it'd be nice to have one to use, and the other to keep nice), and i also wanna try and get a 02 knife . Anyway, the 01's got a leather gift box, certificate, plaque, and keychain. I'm pretty sure that's all. Good luck, and thanks for the info.

Give him some **** about how youve trid everywhere and Ford said to call him. He wont check to see if you have already recieved anything. if you want 2002 stuff tell him you never got it after you got the truck. Youll need a VIN#. i never did get anything so i just gave him mine. But he pretty cool about it. If you just want to buy stuff just ask him.

 

thanks Db, i'll call next week. so you said he never checked to see if you got your stuff already??? hmmm, maybe i'll just tell him that so i can get another emblem with josh verdieck on it instead of ralph verdieck. And get a new keychain. Hope he doesn't read this board. LoL Maybe he'll let me buy a 02 knife too. I'll let ya know how it turns out. When will you get your stuff db? THanks agian

There's one other guy on here though that had another emblem sent cuz they put the wrong name on, and they let him keep both, so hopefully i can have the same luck. I'll probably tell him that i got the emblem, but i want the name changed, so that way i can still have my build number on there. Let me know when you get your stuff, cuz i'll probaby wait to call until you get it.

Hey Db, do you have alan's email? I called him today about getting another keychain and he said no problem just email him. But when i was writing it down, i think i wrote a wrong letter. If you have it, please post it or email it to me so i can see if i wrote it down right. Duh, LoL

How long did it take for you guys to get the harley stuff after you got the truck? I havent received anything or any calls. Im very impatient when it comes to waiting. So what did say to him? He comes off as a very nice guy but you never know if thats just bs.

 

aight, thats the one i sent it to. I wasn't sure about the dot between the alan and pinter. Anyway, i think i got my HD stuff about 3-4 months after i got the truck, but it was so long ago i don't really remember. ANyway, i said that i heard from someone online (meaning you Db, but didn' t say it was you) that he could get me some HD info like posters and brochures. He said they don't have any of that stuff. I then asked about the keychain, and he said no problem, just email my address. I'll ask him about a new plaque with the 1st name changed and getting a 02 HD knife if i get a response on the keychain. Hopefully he'll come through for us. I know what you mean Db, i'm very impatient too. Maybe you should email him Db, and just say that you were wondering how the 01 goodies were coming along.

Speaking of that, anybody got Mike T's number? I emailed him twice like 3 days ago and started a post in the chips forum, but he hasn't gotten back to me yet. I wanna ask him a few questions. I'm sure he's just been busy, but like Db, i can get impatient pretty quick
