They are morons

Jerzey and whoever else cares,
I got called back tonight at dinner (they will call back) The *** in Moron told me that it is not possible to find out the build # or get the plaques unless you contact the original owner and ask him for the plaque and the number on it. HAHAHA Im the original owner!! I told him i never recieved a plaque and then he put me on hold and came back and said that it shows that im the original owner but that he cant determine if I recieved a plaque. DAAAAA. Idiot, why would I be calling you if I got 1 in the first place. Croc-0-shi t!!!! I think that the trucks were never actully given a build # and that they just threw a plaque at you when you bought it. No order. I want someone with a build # to try and get theres from ford and find out what they say. You think theyll get a different #??? 2002 are probably real production # but the rest??? This clown said that he spoke to research and developement and that was what they told him. He probable never even look into it. He kept telling me to contact my dealer. Do you actually think that if Ford Corp. doesnt know my dealer will?Somthing fishy going on here. Im gonna try some other paths tomarrow and see what I come up w/ but Ill probably get the run around again. WHERE THE **** IS MY PLAQUE????

Db682, i do believe that all of them have their correct build numbers, other wise why even send out plaques in the 1st place, but i do believe that it will be VERY hard to find someone with knowledge at ford about the HD program and how many were built etc. I say find that pic from the thread "hd goodies" or something like that, where either blwnHD#34 or outnumbered posted pics of the plaque that came with the 02. There is a number on one of the pics for info about the plaques. I'm sure that the HD's are numbered right, but its gonna be hard not to find an idiot at ford who will tell you anthing to get you off their back. Good luck.

Thumbs down

Sheet Doug, that Sux big Monkey *****!!!

Sorry you had to be put thru that, we gotta write Ford a letter!!!

Hey Josh, I have been collecting brochures on BMW, Lexus and Mercedes-Benz since 1997... I only have about 300 of them right now... if you take a look on e-bay most of them are going for roundabout $10 bux, so I guess my little collection is worth almost $3,000 bux, hehe... maybe in ten years I'll sell them all and buy me a used HD F150 for that money... hahah and I better get a build # with it! lmao!

DOES ANYONE ELSE WHO KNOWS THEIR BUILD # FOR THE HD TRUCK WANNA JOIN THE REGISTRY? WE"RE NOT JUST WASTING SPACE HERE TALKING ABOUT IT, ITS ALL FOR THE SAKE OF THE REGISTRY: www.harleydavidsonf150.jerseyvics.com

Jerzey, yup i get those. I know mb has alot of brochures, and lexus has quite a few too. BMW is the hardest to get brochures from cuz they don't list them for individual cars on the website, they just send you full line, euro delivery, finance, or safetly something like that. But I have a crap load of brochures. Huge tupperwear containers up in the attic filled with em. Its fun though cuz they send ya some weird stuff sometimes. Once landrover sent me a mouse pad, Chevy sent me a matchbox avalanch, and gm sent me a tree!. Yes a freakin tree, it was in a cardboard tube about 2 feet long and a baby tree was in it. Of coarse the tree died (must be cuz it was a GM tree. )

Db682, if you give me the number, if i have time sometime this weekend i'll try and call to ask for my build number cuz i have my plaque and all. How cool would it be if they sent me another plaque and keychain. But i doubt that would happen cuz they still havent' gotten you guy's yours

Hi All,
I think i can try to help you guys with this problem. When i recieved my box in the mail i was sooo waiting to see what it was. So i ripped it open and was sooo happy when i saw it until I noticed to my surprise it had my WIFE'S name on it! (dont know why) So a LITTLE upset i called the guy that was on the letter that was with the gift, I explained to him that the plaque should have had my name on it since it was in my name and was my vehicle (of course) and i would like this plaque with my name on it. After seven months and a few follow up e-mail's to him i recieved the one with my name on it. I now have one "gift set" (embosed case with plaque & keychain) and an additional plaque. Now i have one with my name and one with the wifes name. This is the guy that got it done for me.
Here are the pics and Info:

E-Mail and Name: Alan Pinter Alan.Pinter@halo.com
Phone Number on letter: (248) 458-5122

...hope this helps.....

Hey Jersey,
Oddly enough i worked in downtown Manhattan for 6 years and got off the PATH train at World Trade Center and then back thru after work. I was 5 Months off of being there that day at that time. I arrived at the WTC at 8:30a everyday. That picture was in a camera i found on the ground inside the WTC. I got the pictures developed and that was one of them. They found the front of the first plane at the entrance to the building i used to work in. 19 Rector St.

Hey Adam, you're one lucky sonova.... hehe!

Remind me to shake your hand and congratulate for not being there when it happened (on the June 15th - Saturday meet if you're still coming), very lucky! My uncle was a few blocks up from WTC and believe it or not his building too was evacuated and they all fled to Jersey via the ferry! My aunt had a difficult time picking him up as the traffic down in Weehawken was unbelievable... I don't even think she made it that far, my uncle walked thru the ferry into the town up the cliff and she picked him up on the street there!

Close call bro, very close!

baddgene, email me (joshv_85@yahoo.com) if that's 35$, or do you mean 35,000$$, if that's the case then never mind. LoL

Harley2001NJ, you are one lucky SOB with 2 plaques.. LoL, j/k man, but that's awsome. Ford can't even send ONE to every owner and you were lucky enough to have gotten two. Ya think if i call him he could send me a new keychain cuz mine was sent damaged? Thanks

Harley#356: $35K = $35,000 the "K" is short for "Kilo". kilo means thousand in the metric system.. thus, $35k = thirty five thousand dollars.

you dont get out much do you? LOL

clonetek, i get out plenty , i was just hoping that it was 35 dollars not 35 grand. I really want that knife, it would go awsome with my HDf150 collection of stuff. (not like i use any of it, but i still want it. LoL)I know that the K stands for thousand. Whenever somebody starts a post on mileage, i post 19K. Anyway, i'm gonna GET OUT now and finish painting my intake cover letters. LoL. Another "poor man's" mod, but hey, it will look better
