AND IF SO ANY LUCK HAVE BEEN ON TO THE GUY THAT BROUGHT THE TRUCK FROM FORD DEALER HE GOT IT FROM A DEALER BECAUSE FORD WONT SELL HIS COMPANY NEW TRUCKS SO HE WAS LISTED AS THE FIRST OWNER NOT SURE HOW THIS ONE WILL GO DOWN !

 

Who did you call? I got a call back saying that it is impossible to find out your build number from the VIN. They said to contact the original buyer. Thats me!!! Who else can I bother w/ this Build # ****? Ford screwed me good.

 

Db682, did you try that number that i posted from outnumber's pics? or was that the one you tried. There's always a way, it will just take a while and you have to be lucky enough to get ahold of a person who actually has some i dea of what they are doing. Hey, you could always track down a HD truck with the nearest vin number that's right before yours and the one that's right after. LoL . It may take ya 10 years but you should get it eventually.

 

I called that alan guy twice and left messages but no return call. Everyone else is telling me the same Sh it. Ill try him again but I dont know whats up w/ him.

 

hey guys just finished writing a two page letter to MR ALAN PINTER figured that if e-mail don't work I'll try snail mail also spoke with the guy that brought it in Canada he's going to see what he can do as he is listed as first owner on Fords files he's a dealer just not a Ford dealership sends them all over the place including the U.S. ? still he said he would try to do something

Hey you guys whats with all this sh*t about caps first time i've heard that writing in upper case is SHOUTING (for those out there that are hard of hearing is it ? ) well I'm sorry if I upset anyone out there I will try to type quieter next time but to be honest i have never heard of it before :o still thats enough of that, picked up my soft tonneu cover today and weather permiting I will fit it tomorrow looks real nice but both me and my wife would like to have the one that should have come with the truck, it will cost me about $1410 ish by the time it's in my sweaty hands here in England so best I start saving those other mods will just have to wait

Anyway, did you get the cover with the HD emblem on it or did you get an all black one. Whichever it is i'm sure it'll look good. What brand did you get btw. Post pics when you can.

 

hi 356 it's the one with the logo on it and it came from Ford so who ever makes them for Ford is who it's buy as for the caps thing it takes me twice as long to type cos I have to keep going back to add a capital letter not quite got the hang of this typing thing yet to long in the tooth i guess
