thanks it really does great.

i put some racing seats from summit in it today since the driver seat had broken recently. these also help hold you in more when the doors are off.

I don't know what kind of hills/rocks you have there but i'd consider a set of sliders. They're cheap and really help you slide over stuff when you get high centered. I like the sami man

I can't believe it got stuck that easy. It looks light and with that wheel base, -it should go thru just about anything. Unless you bottom out I guess. Yea detroits (lockers) would have helped or got you in deeper lol....

i've got around 4k into it including the price of the samurai, you can find a deal and get one for cheaper than i paid but i wanted a good all stock reliable one.

yeah i was dissapointed at first but i have taken it through way worst stuff since then. it was just the way the truck sat in that hole, it had two tires that were barely on the ground so they got all the power because of the open diffs.

i've been very impressed since then.

Man that thing is sweet. I have an 87 sami with a 5" SPOA, 31" mudders and a 1.6L tracker motor. They are great inexpensive rigs. I drive mine most everyday since it is better on gas than the F150.

Nice sig , I always liked your truck as well. Not crazy about the body style, but that one looks good the way it's done up.

thanks man i thought it would make a cool picture.

so i got a seat belt ticket on memorial day going to the river with two people in the back area where a seat isn't at at the moment. he just gave me the ticket so he didn't have to write multiple ones. he saw them through the back window so to gain some of my privacy back i went and bought some 5% tint and put it on today.

i did a little research on tinting soft top windows since i thought it was impossible, well some jeep guys figured out that you can use the reusable non adhesive tint thats like 11 bucks to do it. it looks great.

top off

top on. they look dark, which is ok since when i drive it i usually always have the front windows down.

nothing else much has been going on with it, im just working a lot to save a little extra money for the next 6 inches of lift, gears, and 39.5in. boggers.

no haha this was actually my very first time. it was pretty easy. the hardest part for me was cutting the tint at the top of the window. for whatever reason i cant cut a straight line with a razor.

Dang Dillon! The Sami look so sweet! I've always wanted a sami because I have heard they are simple and inexpensive. I'm an Scout guy. Got addicted a long time ago.

What other plans do you have for it?

thanks, yeah they're definitely the cheapest offroad vehical. everythings so light too so its easy to work on. scouts are cool i just wanted something smaller.

next plans are a 3 inch body lift 3 inch shackles and 39.5x18 boggers. transfer case gears will go in first then if i need more power i will do the axles. it should float on water with the 39.5's.
