Looking really good so far now I am getting the itch for one again. My friend has a jeep and has been egging me on the last couple months and if I end up buying one I going to blame you and him for getting my in trouble with my wife.

it can do wheels by pumping the gas and bouncing. it'll almost do them by popping the clutch a little on a hill.

well i ordered the OTS steering kit, extended slip yoke, and a few other things for it last night so they should be here this weekend.

while im waiting on parts i decided to go to best buy and get a cheap stereo system for it.

$150 later i had a head unit and some speakers. i just wired it up to a switch since i don't care if the memory works plus it was just easier since no company makes a wiring kit for samurai's since they are old analoge radios to begin with.

the wires are cleaned up more, i took the pic right after i got in it.

got the parts to make the driveshaft longer and turn the axle up the other day and put them on. my OTS steering just came today so im about to start putting that on, shouldn't take too long. also today i went and got some 33x14 boggers with about 85% tread on wheels. i've got a pic with them rolled up to the sami. i think im going to love these tires.

That little thing went from cute to beast mode. It looks like a tiny monster truck. I always wanted to build one with some of those 32 inch Gorilla Silverback ATV tires on it.

Looking Bad, - yea, definitely a fun project. You have me thinking about building something like that. Something with that small wheelbase, like a an old CJ5 or older style Bronco. - Something that has the room for an engine lol.

Mann, those swampers would throw some monster mud pattys cleaning out wouldn't they ? Probably take someones head clean off lol, -cool....

yeah its fun, the small wheel base helps for mud i think. hey they kits to swap 4.3l vortechs in them and 350's are a common swap. its just a little tight.

yeah those atv tires look badass but they weigh a ton and cost almost as much as truck tires.

heres a small update, the wheel adapters came today but i could only put on the rear ones because the front adapters would not fit over the hub. so i gave them to a friend to machine the centers out a little bigger. i should have them back tomorrow to finish and take it on a test drive.

heres a picture of the rear though, i love the way it looks.
