This is by far the snobbiest forum ever....
It's like all of the little ricers got older and need trucks because their Hondas aren't running. You guys are the true heroes of the interwebs. The search button police get old on all of the forums. I for one don't use it much. Who wants to go through dozens of threads when you are trying to find the answer to a simple question that can be answered by someone who has been through the same thing before. Either be polite and take two minutes out of your time to answer or take 1 minute and be a douche. Or just don't answer at all. Now if you want a good laugh, look how quick this thread took off and how many people took time to post in it. If the same people would post in other threads where the OP was trying to actually find info instead of bashing him, he would have a wealth of info right now.
Now if you really want snobby, try a corvette forum. The only info I ever get from them is what shop to bring my Vette to or what appearance mods look good to them. Lol.

questions like the gotts mod, leveling kit, etc....<snip>....
There is a Technical Articles / How to Forum. The link is at the top of the page, under the "the unofficial resource center for Ford truck enthusiasts" banner.
https://www.f150online.com/forums/articles-how-tos-119/
There is even a sticky TOC thread at the top of the forum, that lists the threads by category :
Index of Articles
Pre technical articles / how to forum, some sticky threads were made, but this has to be limited, if not the 1st page of each forum is a list of sticky threads.
As for the "members here" you are one of them.
There are not member(s) that have sections, the moderators have sections, and they just keep things running, and contribute as they have time ( Mod functions take a boat load of time, and is a thankless job to boot ).
Time to pick a topic that has not been covered ( or compile a summary of multiple threads on a topic ), do a write up, document it (with pictures is best ).
The site works the best when everyone contributes.
I see this every few months, where members think it is the job / responsibility of the members that have been here the longest to do the write ups.
If you got help with something, your bill for the free help is to help the next member / fill in where you think the site needs a topic covered.
Jack did a long write up on Tuners ( general, tried to be brand independent ) that covered some of the questions that come up. It is a sticky at the top of the programmer forum.

Might want to read the posts from the OP, he never got the answer of "use the search function". He was just bringing up a topic he thought needed to be addressed. He got the wealth of information, and was just addressing a topic he thought needed to be addressed. RIF
BTW: The lame 1 line answer of use the search, it is a bad idea, it can turn people off registering and participating on the forum, which is not what should happen. I agree there is too much lame 1 line "Use the search", and at times I see this, the search does not provide squat or it is just given as an answer to jack up post counts ( seems to be the only reason, else why share that useless thought ). This is central to the forums I stick to, I cannot say if the same happens in other forums.
I try to provide the search term ( if the threads are numerous ) and the relevant thread to the topic at hand.
A topic revisited always brings up new thoughts / information, and there is no reason not to have multiple threads on the same topic, as well as an existing thread might not have a solution to a problem ( something that also happen a lot, bunch of suggestions on what to do, never a reply what the root cause & solution was ).
I would guess the OP is addressing the other side of this thread :
Use search option !! Use search option!!
Guess if search is a valid answer, the moderators should shut off new thread creation, and only allow reply to existing threads............

Pretty much the only two people that read and understood the post. I could care less if I need tough skin or not. Obviously if I went ahead and made this post knowing all the jacka$$es would come out and post on it. Its all good people. Like SScully said, I was just making an observation and throwing it out there!!
If you had used the search feature you would have known that.
I'm guessing that pretty much everyone understood it . . . which is why they went out of their way to respond the way they did. When you paint a big target on yourself and say "flame away", then that's pretty much what is going to happen.
First, and as mentioned above, it's "I COULDN'T care less" (unless, of course, you could care less, which is a possibility, but then the cliché wouldn't have much use here) . . .
and second, you call everyone jackasses and you expect respect and help? Are you retarded? (Don't answer, it's rhetorical.)
And it got thrown right back at ya.
So what have you learned here? Well, probably nothing, but that's why I'm here to help.
If you want respect, to be treated nicely, and possibly receive some help, you don't go about it the way you did.
And obviously you care, because you demonstrate that by making such a big deal of it.
So stop trying to impress all of us with your "I'm cool and don't care attitude.", because it's clearly a lie.
Be nice, and the favor will be returned to you.
Now bugger off.

No, that's not it. I didn't get him until I moved out to the country. (I got him in Oklahoma . . . there's nothin' but country / hick in that cat.).
Last night I was workin' on a project and the cat is running around, sliding on the floor, bouncing off the walls and then hopping around (not a lot, just intermittently) but I saw no reason for him to exhibit such behavior. (usually, it is caused by a spider . . . he goes nuts and tortures them)
I later found out it was tiny flying insect.
I was starting to suspect the cat was dropping acid again. He used to do that. Cats on acid is a frightening thing to see.
