This is by far the snobbiest forum ever....
Just like the title says. As you can see I haven't been here long and at the risk of being flamed and or banned I'm going to speak my mind anyways. I frequent a lot of different forums in the different hobbies of mine. I have to honestly say this is the most snobby site I have been on. I have never seen more "why don't you try the search" replies anywhere else. This is a forum and your always going to have the lazy *** that doesn't want to do the search. Its been that way forever and it will always be that way. Instead of taking the time to just reply with a legit answer you feel the need to reply with the same crappy search reply. If you have written the answer more then once then why not just put a link to it or just not reply at all and force them to search. Anyone ever heard of the saying "I would be a Christian if it weren't for Christians"? I feel like you could say I would own a f150 if it weren't for f150 owners.
Don't get me wrong there is a lot of helpful stuff on here but the ****ty replies are just too much!!!
Just my thoughts.
(flamesuit on!)

also, why should we have to do the work for you?
There are thousands of people who come to this site and only a handful that ask questions without searching. If you type "site:f150online.com <what you're looking for>" into google you'll get even better results than the site's search provides sometimes.
I can't believe you're bitching because you didn't take 5 minutes to research before asking a dumb / repetitive question... respect has to be earned, and if you keep asking questions without researching first, there won't be much respect.

I wonder if anyone here truly respects me. I doubt it.
Even I get told to use the S.F some times.
Mostly because I asked a question that was answered already.
Why should some one else do my work for me? Besides it was likely better explained better in the thread it was posted in.

#1 the interweb hasn't been around forever as you stated...
#2 you need to search, this has been brought up before
#3 does your mommy know you're posting like this on grown up forums with the adults????
#4 what did mommy pack for your lunch today? did she give you any money?? give it here, all of it...
#5 see you tomorrow
Other sites post forum rules for new members alot stating search, don't **** people off... blah blah blah! Don't up talk jap scrap, search things and don't be so sensitive, you'll get along fine with me. Otherwise, I could give a crap what you'd say, I'm a big boy! Welcome to the site, lots of good info and ideas here so don't be quick to judge, and yes, this topic has been covered you should have searched...... that was funny!
So, -you want a fricken tissue ?

You made the list, congratulations~ [IGNORE]Xcountry66[/IGNORE]
There is a Technical Articles / How to Forum. The link is at the top of the page, under the "the unofficial resource center for Ford truck enthusiasts" banner.
https://www.f150online.com/forums/articles-how-tos-119/
There is even a sticky TOC thread at the top of the forum, that lists the threads by category :
https://www.f150online.com/forums/ar...-articles.html
Pre technical articles / how to forum, some sticky threads were made, but this has to be limited, if not the 1st page of each forum is a list of sticky threads.
As for the "members here" you are one of them.
There are not member(s) that have sections, the moderators have sections, and they just keep things running, and contribute as they have time ( Mod functions take a boat load of time, and is a thankless job to boot ).
Time to pick a topic that has not been covered ( or compile a summary of multiple threads on a topic ), do a write up, document it (with pictures is best ).
The site works the best when everyone contributes.
I see this every few months, where members think it is the job / responsibility of the members that have been here the longest to do the write ups.
If you got help with something, your bill for the free help is to help the next member / fill in where you think the site needs a topic covered.
Jack did a long write up on Tuners ( general, tried to be brand independent ) that covered some of the questions that come up. It is a sticky at the top of the programmer forum.
