The Official, I Felt That EarthQuake! Thread.

California, Arizona, New Mexico, Las Vegas, maybe other states, report it here as soon as you feel an earthquake.

Last night June 14 at about 9:30 PM my body started to sway back and forth while sitting in my chair in front of my computer here in Yorba Linda, CA Land of Gracious Living. I thought it was one of my dizzy spells, but my chair was also swaying; I quickly realized it was an earthquake. It lasted about 5 seconds and I though it to be as strong as a 3.5-3.9 but wondered where the epicenter was located. The epicenter happen to be in SoCal, Ocotillo to be exact; it measured at 5.7 on the Richter Scale.

I'm in San Diego right now. That one last night was a decent one. I missed the "big one" on Easter so I'm hoping for another "big one" before I go home in August.

I thought I felt one yesterday. I was eating Hibachi Chicken and Shrimp Lo-Mien. All of a sudden, the table started shaking and the lights over head swaying. I was sure it was the big one. As I dived under the table, I realized they had just brought out the crab legs for the buffet. False alarm. Though the stampede could have been just as bad.

I'm in Newbury Park, a suburb of LA right now, felt the one last night a little (but not too bad), and Saturday I was in Palm Springs having dinner and felt one there, too, although the one last night was much bigger, I'm farther away now.
