Bible Interpretation Question for the Experts

I know, you guys think I’m up to no-good, but I had a serious brainstorm the other day, but before I share it with you; I need to find the answer to this question.
It’s important that there’s a consensus also.
The bible says that the only way to get into heaven is by accepting Jesus Christ into your heart, no exceptions.
Suppose there is a tribe of pygmy’s living deep in the jungles of the Amazon, and they have never been contacted or exposed to anyone from the outside world.
Since they have never been told the good word, upon their death, do they go to heaven or hell?
I know this has been covered before, but I don’t recall there being a concrete consensus.
So what say you experts, heaven or hell?

Is there a definitive answer everyone agrees on?
Then I will be pleased to share my exciting revelation with all of you.
Habs

You know I'm not a man of many words, so I will automatically spare you the all drawn out...

As Christians instead of questioning the fate of those who have not heard of Jesus Christ we do our best to make sure those who haven't heard of Him get their chance.

Every form of the Christian faith supports or performs some sort of missionary work. This is a very good way to reach those that do not know.

Like I said I'm not very good at putting this stuff down. Long winded ain't my thing. :o

As an atheist, you sure are concerned with such things. It would take me time to find the right Scriptures, because I'm not a biblical scholar. But yes, the unknowing that are clean of heart will go to heaven.
You are no atheist Habs. You just like to argue! The spirit is there, you're just to stubborn to listen.

Romans 2 (pretty much the entire book of Romans) explains it better than me, but God has written what's right and what's wrong in everyone's mind (conscience: we all know that murder, stealing, etc is wrong). Coupled with the earth and its order being proof of God, this is why He states in the Bible that no one will have an excuse for denying God/Christ after death.

The vast majority of people on the earth today have heard the Gospel of Christ, even if but briefly and then either rejected or accepted Him.

One thing is for certain, God's judgment will be totally fair and totally correct in judging anyone who has not heard the Gospel by what they have done in their lives.

Wouldn't the correct question be,Does THEIR Religion has a "Heaven" or "Hell"???

Personally, I believe in the "age of accountability" and I apply it here. To me, it means that someone who hasn't had a fair shot to understand the lord's teachings will have their fair judgement before God (Not an automatic to Hell). To me, it applies to young children, people with mental handicaps, and the people who live remotely.

Git-r-done and please bless the pygmys in New Guinea

Perhaps I could have phrased it as such:

According to the Christians, would the pygmy in the tribe go to heaven or hell?

I've read the replies from Stealth, Frank & Tumba, but they all seem rather vague, I sort of get from it:

"It will be whatever God decides"
Am I asking for too much by wanting a hard and fast answer?
Or is this a question with no definitive asnwer?

Thanks
Habs

The Answer you seek is in the Bible. Give it a shot. Make your own decision.

I'm through here. You don't want my help.
