I'm seriously looking at purchasing a 2011 Shelby GT500, if that counts.

I looked at them before I bought the 150, but just having graduated college 5 years ago and saving for a house with a serious gf I can't afford two cars... and my daily life requires a truck. I rented an 07 V6 for a week though last year in NC while on vacation... put 800 miles on it... even though it was not a GT it had some power and was a nice car.

You really feel like your in a 60's stang with the longer hoods. Nobody I know has had anything but good to say about them and really no problems mechanically or fit wise. Do it, especially the california special- my personal favorite 05+.
You mean a shelby? Theres no Cobra in the new body style.

Heres my baby...a lil rough, but she treats me well. In the process of restomoding it.

I have a '67 Fastback that's also rough.

Nightmist blue, 4 barrel 289 w/top loader 4 speed and a console. Dealer installed with a 8" Detroit locker and 3.50 gears.

It's got Magnum 500 wheels, with some motor work and suspension goodies.

Needs paint, minor body work, a little TLC on the interior, a new heater core and a new steering box.

Patiently waiting for when I can afford to fix it up right.

I had a 1986 GT with the 5 speed. First year for the mpfi as I recall.. Was a pretty cool car for me at the time... Wish I had a pic of it! I owned it for over 11 years and I can't find a pic of it!! DOH!!!!!

It gave it's life for the F150 (trade in 2001)... Wish I could have kept it, but couldn't house both vehicles and I needed the trade in $$...

My 'dream' Stang is a 1969 Mach 1... Any engine, but a 428 SCJ would be nice! (well, so would a BOSS 429 for that matter....) Just have always liked that body style ever since I was a little kid and would see them by the DOZENS on car lots all over Southern California in the early 70's!!!
