Any answer we give you will be shot down, or wrong, or anti-American. The way of your political beliefs...

Give me one to prove me wrong then...

For the record, I am not a republican or a conservative

Nothing I can say will change your mind. You have already made your choice and nothing can convince you otherwise.

I'm a part time substitute teacher while going to school full time trying to get my degree in criminology so that I can start a career in law enforcement. I'm sure you're going to try and pull the "he's an intellectual that knows nothing" technique, don't even bother.

EH.... I'm a full time student as well. As far as intelligence, it's all to do with the realtionship between the Government and it's citizens.

So my question to you is what are you thinking this relationship consist of and how it relates to the founding documents?

What do you want me to say, no taxation without representation? I'm sure my answer is wrong so just correct me and make you point.

I was kinda curious as to how you are going to be personally affected by the
"change". If all you can say is "No taxation w/o representation" then you have alot more to learn.

You mention $40,000000. That is a great sum of money to both you and me; but what % is that to what the hospital generates in term of revenue? We have to huge hospital systems here in Cleveland---world famous ones, as a matter of fact, and $40 million is not even the proverbial drop in a bucket to either of them.

The research budget alone for the Cleveland Clinic in 2008 was $255 million.

$40 mil---sounds like a great deal, but it is pocket change to many hospitals

So it's up to you to decide what is "enough"? Do you want to go line by line or each hospitals budget to decide if they are doing their part? Point is they; the hospitals, don't have to do anything for free. They CHOOSE to donate services, supplies, and treatment.

So 40 million dollars in one year just in care for illegals isn't enough for you? How much money should hospitals spend each year on non tax payers?

What percent of revenue should a hospital donate? Maybe our Gov't officials should pass a bill mandating hospitals give away more services!

So what is the point you are trying to prove?
That maybe if the hospital did not make as much money, they could spend more on treating poor people?

The school I sub at has a high minority rate with only a fraction of them are even attempting to graduate. They are more worried about their "afro hawx" than their mullets. Those are the people that should not be allowed free health care, the true dregs of society.

I also don't teach, seeing as I'm a sub. My job is to keep them under control and throw a couple of predetermined assignments at them.
