Cavalry since '86... and still going. 2/3 Armored Cavalry at Fort Bliss TX, 2-8 CAV at Fort Hood TX, 1/3 Armored Cavalry at Fort Carson CO, 5-1 Cavalry at Fort Wainwright AK... and 100 days left in Iraq on Tour #2. YeeeHaw!!!

USN 88-95 Aviation Ordnanceman. F/A-18's. VFA-131 out of Cecil Field in Jacksonville.

Two Mediterranean cruises on the USS Eisenhower. First carrier on station for Desert Shield.

Air Force Active Duty for 9 years now (Crew Chief), getting out and going full time Air National Guard in September.

Active Air Force- Aerospace Propulsion Mechanic- Work is always happening, I say try to be a loadmaster, You will get to fly around and get paid good. But I love being in the service

For me it was Marine Corps or nothing so when I was turned down because of my knees I went to college. It still bothers me to this day that I didn't get to fulfill one of my biggest dreams, to be a Marine.

I never had to eat a MRE in 24 years. Some of the box lunches out of the chow hall were pretty nasty though.
