Govenor Bush here in Florida has been trying to put into place his "One Florida" plan that does just what you suggested. Removes the "Race" box from all government forms, college forms, etc. Unfortunately, the NAACP has been up in arms about this saying it is unfair and marching on the capital city, etc...... Don't know if it has passed yet though. Seems to me they only want things to be fair and equal when it benefits them.

 

So what we have here is a constitutional crisis?

It seems there is a new rule being touted for golfers.
If you don't like your shot, instead of yelling "FORE" - you yell "GORE" - you can then take your shot over, with no penelty strokes, until you like where it went.
This rule seems to have taken hold in Florida.
So far they have listed one golf game taking 22 days to complete, and - - - the golfers are STILL on the first tee!!!!
