Thumbs up What a difference between my SCrew 4x4 and ...................

my 1997 XLT SC 4x4. I can't believe the difference in ride and performance between the two even though they are basically the same platform. The 5.4L is definitely better than the 4.6L in throttle response and lack of tranny shifting on grades. The captain chairs are much more comfortable than the 60/40 bench. The ride is a lot smoother too. I have had it only two days and the only thing I find disappointing is the lack of holes in the bed rail covers for tie down hooks. Why did they leave them off? Anyone find a way to add tie downs in the rails? Need to update my sig.

Yep, I found those Captains Chairs to be better too. My wife likes driving the F250 SD with em better than the 97 F150 Lariat 4X4 I had. Glad you are enjoying it.
