Leave for a day and the sublime and ridiculous have a circus. 2000Lariat, why don't you get out and pursue a civilian career if things are so bad for you under Clinton? Your little tirade about Dennis making money can only mean one thing: you can't make any yourself. As far as MY dedication, it's only to one thing: ME. Can you dig it? I like 401K, annual leave, sick leave, stock plans, retirement plans, medical insurance, dental insurance, paid holidays, and a whole host of other things that you would never comprehend. I can also only assume because of your ignorant and homophobic statements that you are among those that make the military so ineffective (you know, guys that couldn't make the cut on the outside). It's awfully hard to get fired in the military, but civilian employers certainly don't have any qualms about bouncing an inept individual such as yourself out the gate. This junk about defending the world for democracy, PLEASE. John Wayne's dead, holmes. Again though, if I was as unhappy as you say you are, Iw ould look for another employer. Then again, you're all talk. You wouldn't have as much to bitch about and you wouldn't have anyone's personal life to pry into on a regular basis. Here's a little tip: in the civilian world (I realize you are quite detatched from reality), if you pry into someone's personal life, there are serious consequences; i.e. lawsuits, restraining orders, and quite possibly bodily harm and or dismissal from employment.

I just came back to the message board today. Looking back over the posts in this thread over the past few days, I feel I should respond.

When I saw the pic of the now infamous dog/sign/urine incident, I thought it was funny. Plain and simple. Like kilroy's post above. I posted it because I thought it might bring some levity to a discussion that was becoming increasingly (inappropriately?) heated. I was wrong. I find it hard to believe that the people engaged in this arguing and name-calling are the SAME people who are so helpful and cooperative when the subject is about our common interest: F150!

Now, to address Dennis directly: I find it disturbing that you look at that picture and read some sort of conspiracy into it. Just my opinion. I certainly hope that you did not mean to imply that I am an anti-Semite because I posted the picture, or because I support the Bush campaign, or because I used to own a Dachshund. If my Dachshund were still alive, I bet he'd have peed on the sign, too.

*** NOTE: the following is intended to be light-hearted and non-offensive. If you are especially sensitive, please read no further ***

First, let's look at some interesting facts about dogs, since that seems to be an issue. How common are dogs of German origin?

The 10 most popular dog breeds in the United States
(based on AKC registrations in 1999)

Labrador Retrievers
Golden Retrievers
German Shepherd GERMAN
Dachshund GERMAN
Beagles
Poodles GERMAN
Chihuahuas
Rottweilers GERMAN
Yorkshire Terriers
Boxers GERMAN
Don't believe poodles are German? Read this.

Furthermore, although I didn't realize it at the time, the picture I posted may have even deeper implications. I seems that dogs in Germany are now the victims of their own dog holocaust. I'm not sure what it all means, or even if that little dog peeing on the sign fully understands, but at least he's not on the list of banned breeds. Note that I'm not making this up, just trying to promote awareness.

*** end of light-hearted and non-offensive comments. please continue reading here ***

Also heard an interesting quote,

"I wish I never invented the electoral college."

Al Gore

Keep it light everyone, I believe that our nation is strong enough to prevail no matter whom is in the oral, um, I mean Oval office. Luckily we have a country where an idiot can run the nation, because sooner or later, one will. (See 1992-2000)

I hate (not) to break it to you guys, gals and 'others' that this is a F150 Site.
The one reason this Site was set up is because of the one thing we all have in common: our Love for our Trucks. It is understandable that beyond this, differences will abound.
Surely there are other forums where you all can bash each other to your delight.

ps. To me it is a dog peeing on a sign.
To a ****, there may be the hope that someone will read in to it the intended insult. He will get no satisfaction from me.
Psyhcotics (sp?)love it when you see what they want you to see. GET IT?
Just like I used to tell the troublemakers at work: "I would only be insulted if someone I respected said that"

I'm done, "Lock 'er down Steve"

Question

If you just step across the border wouldn't your Weimaraner cross first?

Regardless of that, I don't think they'd ever let that thing vote but, I would think it would be entitled to all the other rights of citizenship.

Nevermind the last post.
I just looked up Weimaraner in the dictionary.

(It must be rough, going through life with a name like that)
