lol. ya it was a really nice gift to help us out. but ofcourse my sister is broke as usual so my dad bought her her 2nd computer as well. me on the other hand, if this one doesn't last im screwed

same with her car, she didn't like her 06 civic so when i got my truck she complained she got a nicer truck, it was a year older, but had less miles than her car, and was still worth more than my truck even tho it was 2 years old.

 

She's broke because she can't shop for sheet! With a 2K budget she could have gotten a good business notebook that would spank a MB, plenty of software and money left over (I'd estimate around $500). She also sucks at PCs if she broke it within 2 years.

That was my motivation,
First PC I bought for myself, AMD K6-2 running at 366 Mhz.
I had 64 megs of ram (Made me think I was all that and a slice of cheese)
I financed that bad boy, I think it was almost $3,000 back in 98

Im talking stock to stock, apples a better computer. Meaning, better then any stock computer then you can buy.

Thats like comparing buying a house, compared to a builder building a better one for half the price. Of course, he has the tools and resources and knowledge to do it. Im sure computer geeks can build a much better computer for cheaper. Stock for stock, apples are worth the extra cash.

 

If you actually read the thread you'll see my post where I completely ripped apart your "theory". With proof.
