That makes lots of sense and is real mature...

Control key=apple key

Apple mouses can right click, just with one button

I would take a mac over a PC anyday. Are they overpriced, yes. Do I still pay it, yes. I have a iMac for my desktop, and a hp laptop. I like them both, but the iMac wins.

Oh and one more thing:

For desktops price wise the PC would win, but with laptops a mac takes the trophey.

A alienware laptop and a macbook pro are both hella expensive. But in the end the mac wins. And good luck building a laptop

My own PC I built and pick all the internals and case.

You can right click, and on the new macbook pro's there isnt even a button. It is just one giant pad. You can click the pad, click the bottom right pad and you get right click. Same thing on the mouse, click the right side and you get right click. You just have to enable it.

Another bonus is that you dont have to install drivers and stuff. You just plug it in and it automatically recognizes it.

Please tell me you realize my post was mocking this entire thread. I've been using Macs for over 20 years as a graphic artist. AND I was even in a band at one point in my life. BUT (I hate to disappoint Arca) I've never been unemployed.

I understood the mocking, but to me it sounded like it was geared the other direction, lol. Its cool though. The whole unemployed deal doesnt make a whole lot of sense to me. Mac are expensive, thus you need money to purchase them. I have a really strong feeling that there are more unemployed pc users than mac users.

My XP and Vista machines have both done that since day one, thanks though. Finally apple is catching up on something?

I don't know about you but on my old XP machine I plugged a printer in to the USB and it asked me for the CD for the drivers... Microsoft is just starting to get the idea of the plug-and-play.. I've had many PC's and everytime I hooked up a joystick or anything it says to load the drivers first.. I didn't have to do that with my Mac...

As for Vista, my girl has that on her laptop and she wishes that it never came with it.. I can't find my old XP disk or I would format and put that on it, but every chance she gets she tries to steal my mac to use instead of her's...

Nope, everything I loaded onto my Xp pro machine, and this vista one have never needed the discs. Ocassionally it might look online for it, but that takes literally seconds at most.

You think building a laptop is hard? Just to let you know, its not I have built 3 of them. Also I have no special training and im not a computer geek, I can just read instructions and follow them. I built my first desktop when I was 15, I had no idea what I was doing I just looked up instructions online and printed them off.

I haven't had to use an installation cd in a long long time.

Im talking stock to stock, apples a better computer. Meaning, better then any stock computer then you can buy.

Thats like comparing buying a house, compared to a builder building a better one for half the price. Of course, he has the tools and resources and knowledge to do it. Im sure computer geeks can build a much better computer for cheaper. Stock for stock, apples are worth the extra cash.
First off building a PC is very simple, anyone that can follow instructions can do it. Second if you check dell vs apple you can get the same stuff in a dell as in the apple for less money, that is what Arca was trying to show you. If you don't believe him or me go check it out for yourself. Build the same computer on both and see what happens.

I don't have any issues chipping the porcelain.
