figured I'd appease everyone. Funny how that wasn't my ONLY site I brought up. Nor my only fact. Heck, i didn't even read that one much. Just posted to it show my point. Its pretty agreed on across the board.

In all honesty, I usually ignore your posts; always have found them in the GD rather annoying. Just one of those personal prefrences in my mind. I haven't read any of your other posts in this thread for the reason I just mentioned. You could have made some valid points along with other links but I wouldn't know and don't really care. Just saw a link with Time and the word credible in the same sentence and it made me laugh.

I guess it's the fact that you are always right. I mean, you are just the brightest bulb on this entire forum; hell, probably the entire F150 community. Your knowledge in all things (not just regarding trucks) is endless; I guess I envy your wisdom.

This is also why i don't frequent GD much. I usually stay in suspension and off road type sections. Every now and then, its just too good to resist.

if the government is involved would you expect the price to go up ...alot
could you imagine the money that would be wasted in testing, arguing, lobbist, medical trials, changing of legislation, education to law enforcement.
If you enjoy it in your home with people you trust, chances are like 99% of the people it is a non issue.
i view this like i do healthcare, if you think it is a problem now, wait till you get the congress involved, they have done such a good job on everything else.

Yes, I have been "busted". Here in CA its a misdemeanor offense. No big deal, I faced a fine. If I was carrying over 1 ounce, I woulda been locked up for awhile. 1 ounce isn't all that much, but you can see seriouse jail time.
I am far more an advocate for medical MJ for the record. Thats what I truely believe in, and fight for. Just so ya know.
No, I wouldn't expect the price to go up. In CA medical pot is legal. Since it was made even more readibly available and "legal" that price has come down, a lot. Its even being taxed in some areas, and the price is still better then lets say.... in 98 (just an example I pulled outta my ***). This is speculation though. On both sides. Pot prices stay fairly even in the netherlands, legalization didn't shoot prices up there. I know, apples to oranges, but still a living example.
Next point is what got me. To be honest, no one had brought this point up. Lobbyist wouldn't change. There are already a large amount in there, fighting for complete legalization or medical legalization. NORML is one of the large backers of this. Testing: testing has already been done, even by our own US government. They have tested on animals and humans extensively. Change of legislation would cost, your right. But the saving we would have from the other side of things far outweight this arguement. Paper, rope, oils, lubes, etc etc etc. Think of the money big pharma would save from the pills they create. Those have to be far more costly to produce then ganja. Probably why they cost so much more. You could replace much of this, with growing pot. It would save quite a bit of money. Good points here, but I feel the money we save outwieghs the intial cost. Prisons/jail time/lawyers we pay for, because they can't afford it, food for prisoners and all their other needs, prosecution, searching for, spying on, large raids, etc etc etc. Money would be saved on many different fronts.
Not much arguement from me on that one. Here in CA, most cops really don't enforce these laws. I can literally walk down the street, smoking a fatty, and no worry about a thing. But, around here it is far different then the rest of the country. It pisses me off to read about "Fred" who was caught smoking a doob, and is now facing felony charges and posible YEARS behind bars. Thats not right. They are not criminals. They did nothing wrong to anyone, didn't want to hurt anyone, and just wanted to relax. I think its incredibly hypocritical for congress to sit around, taking drinks of the Whiskey and Bourbons, but condemming the use of marijuana, right after they light up a large cigar, and take some prescription drugs to "calm down" "ease pain" or whatever there excuse is.
