I've gone back to work some. But I get a treatment for pain once a month. I tend to get on the edge for a couple of days afterward.

Sure. Go into any Catholic church, and have a look around. According to the Bible, God ordered that NO images to represent him be made, and that using idols in your worship of him was forbidden (Deuteronomy 4:15-19, Exodus 20:4-5, Psalm 115:4-8, Isaiah 44:14-20 and Isaiah 46:6-7, just to name a few). The Catholics overturned God's word at the Second Council of Nicaea. That's when the Catholics said it was okay to worship statues because "the honor accorded to the image passes over to its prototype, and whoever adores the image adores in it the reality of what is there represented."

Look it up for yourself.

 

Now I'm no religious expert (obviously) but don't Roman Catholics pray to Saints or people who become Saints?
Surely a bit of blasphemy and idolatry going on here?

I tried the prayer thing today but it didn't work.
I was outside today using the leaf blower when all of a sudden it stopped working

I immediatly dropped down on my knee and said "Oh God, Sweet Jesus, please make the %$#$ work, Please Lord, pretty please with sugar on it.

Cuz that's what you guys do when your car breaks down right? You pull over and clasp your hands in prayer, and wait for the miracle to happen.

...and when nothing happens you call AAA.

Well if we are going to bash on catholics... I'm in. That religion is seriously messed up. But Christianity as a whole doesn't think that way. My mom was a good catholic girl. the first wife was too. So I know a small bit about them to know they are wrong. Some don't even concider catholics Christian. I tend to disagree because they do realize that Jesus Christ is our saviour. Just the whole praying thru mary to talk to Jesus is not right. Like praying to a rock to talk to allah

 

How can you consider some one wrong, if the devine one has not told you what is right?
I do not believe there is a right or wrong for someone truly seeking God.
