I fill up the first of the month. If I am going on a trip I fill up as needed, but 1 tank will usually last me a month

Gas is about $.075 cheaper in Anchorage.
That sounds like a hassle filling a bunch of jugs to save 7 and 1/2 cents a gallon. You sure you don't mean 75 cents?

I'm about the same. 60 bucks usually last me 2 weeks plus in mine. I filled up once recently for 120 dollars and lasted 5 weeks.

x2 My 04 I bought new almost five years ago has just a tad over 16,500 miles on it. I've never let it go lower than 1/2 tank, and a half a tank usually will last me a month. I get the ebie-jebies when it gets to half because my wallet thickness will shrink by half

Sadly my 06 has 52k, when gas got expensive I stole my brothers Nissan Frontier(He is in the Army for the next 2.5 years). Now my truck is just a weekend cruiser. To be honest I am really enjoying having a truck I drive to work and one that stays clean and full of gas for the weekends.

I kept my my truck looking like new since I bought it. But had an accident two weeks ago when I backed out of my driveway and hit a 94 Chrysler van. Looked both ways and BAM, She flew out of the alley, hung a right and basically ran into me. Matter of fact, you can see the marks in the gravel where she came out about 30 feet from my driveway. The point I'm trying to make is her van was totaled and my estimate was $524.73 to replace the bumper/hitch brackets, top plastic piece on the bumper and buff out the paint on the chrome, which I have already done. My ticket, and I will accept that, but I'm glad I was in my truck instead of my wifes Honda CRV. I wish I had a picture of her van to share. It slid the back of my truck at least a foot sideways. Built ford tough, I think it was that full tank of gas that totaled her van. The cell phone she was on self destructed against the windshield

Are you driving a F-150? Cause with my 4.2L V6 and a VERY light foot the farthest I've been able to stretch my 25 gallon tank is 445 miles.

Newer trucks were/are available with a 35.7 (I think) gallon tank. Guess I should add, when I fill up my F-250 at a half tank, it is usually at 325~ miles. Cavi is at 350-370 miles on empty.

Raptor i am with you on that. I have to question all these people that claim to get 16 -17 miles to the gallon city. I baby the hell out of man and i get around 350 per tank. Mine is all stock expcept for a flowmaster and cold air intake. I just have trouble trouble believing ther is that big of difference between these trucks. If everyone is talking about a 5.4L

I have the 25 or 26 gallon tank and I pretty regularly pull 320-340 miles out of it mixed city/highway. Even with the larger tank 600 miles would be impossible out of my truck and it gets pretty much what Ford says it would even after larger tires/rims.

Yeah, that's what I do. At 1/4 tank, put 21 gallons in. Then I complain about high gas prices have gotten. I self soothe knowing that I get to expense it.

How the hell can you get a ticket? 30 feet is ten yards... If she hit you, and moved you a foot, shear physics states that she did not stop when exiting the alley... Its a little difficult to get going that fast in a matter of ten yards. She may have been doing 10 mph if she stopped. Hell, I can race you on foot, while you are in your truck, and beat you in a ten yard race. I would cry foul. But hey, I am never in the wrong.
