Got a knock on the door with about a 10 year old boy with tears streaming down his face and a mad dad. He was riding his bike and got to close and hit the mirror. Knocked it all the way back and knocked the glass out. Dad was offering to fix it, i grabbed my phone and looked it up real quick. 18 bucks for a complete mirror.
I told the kid lets forget about it since he was honest and it was just a mistake. The dad told him that's fine but your going to mow his yard for the next 2 times, told him that wasnt necessary but the kid seemed like he wanted too.
Glad to see kids this day and age own up to their mistakes. Most wouldve hauled *** and never saod a word to their parents.
The Wife has been gone since Friday and I've been driving the Edge. I this is by far the longest I've gone without driving the truck when having access to it. Have to take it for a drive tomorrow, I feel bad leaving it there, lol.

I try ro get the wife to drive the cavalier and leave me the edge but it never works. Love that vehicle. Here in a few years when she ready for a new car im keeping the edge for the daily and booting the cavalier to the curb or junk yard
Nice cane crop this year and they are starting to harvest. Took this yesterday after fueling up at the local Shell station. Only a mile from my house. 92 degrees yesterday with heat index close to a hundred. Looking forward to cooler weather this weekend.
I've been thinking about getting the lower part painted Caribou that's the factory two tone option. I see a lot of trucks with the two tone and it really looks good...just too tight to spend a grand to get it done! Wife likes the single color so it may just stay the way it is.
