Stock Down pipes will be holding me back a bit, I'm sure. If I can get back to the Dyno I ran before, it does read low, so we'll see what I get out of it.

Dyno booked for the 26th!

Still couldn't hit those numbers up here! Stuck with 91...

That is awesome though, I knew that the dual fuel and better turbo's would make a difference. You an pull right to the end (main reason I went with the GT's).

Going this route is way cheaper for now anyway. I'll probably end up with a Gen 2 eventually, hopefully in a Raptor.

In the meantime, I'll still have a pretty quick little truck.

Man, I still love those Harely's.

I had a Whale beside me the other day and he rolled down his window to let me know he liked my truck. I responded in kind.

I may try the strip once this year, just to say I've done it. Not expecting anything crazy out of a truck that weighs 6400#'s with me in it though.

Made the trek over to New Orleans today -- traffic on I-10 moved along pretty well so the trip was actually quite pleasant. It always shocks me how many miles of I-10 are bridged as you pass through the swamps -- kind of surprises me that this didn't prove to be cost prohibitive when they built it back in the 1960's.....???

Changed my front pads and rotors today. They were pretty much metal on metal. I usually don't let them get that bad, but I think the trip last month to the keys towing the boat wore them out. This is the third set of pads and second pair of rotors in 72k miles. Went with the severe duty pads this time, so we'll see if I get some more life out of them. The rears are still looking good, and I'm pretty sure they're still factory. Had a pretty good time spending the day in the garage today.

I'm not gonna lie, I thought about just trading the truck instead of fooling with the brakes. Seems like a justifiable reason, right??

Was thru there at the first of March going to move my youngest girl from Charleston to Hendersonville, NC. Love the long bridges over the swamps. But you can keep the bridge over the Mississippi River. I hate, hate, hate, that bridge. It's worse than the bridge in Baton Rouge that stacks traffic on the east bound side because the left lane exits at the bottom of the bridge. Locals know about it, I'm sure, but the rest of the world doesn't and then a ton of us "tourists" get to fight our way over to the middle lane or end up downtown in a cluster f. I assume they completed the wreck of construction between the Texas border and Beaumont. That was a 2 hour but whoopin' when I went thru there- ONE lane only at 15 mph. My usual 17 hour trip to Charleston was 26 hours due to construction and accidents. Thought I'd never get there.
