The wife just bought one of those Cricut Machines that cut vinyl for stickers and all that. It's a pretty cool little gadget. Can make anything you can think of.

Yep! Mine (a 2005) is actually one of the last generation of Johnsons. BRP bought them in 2005 and phased out the Johnson in 2007. Now it's all merged into the Evinrude E-Tec. I'd still prefer a Yamaha or Suzuki anyway though.

I used to be a certified Suzuki out board tech. They are actually pretty darn good. mostly thanks to the Yamaha short block (this was ten+ years ago, not sure if they still are).

The best part was that when you cracked open the short block, they often had FORD cams and heads..

Spent most of the morning cleaning up the truck. It was really dirty. Even washed the engine.

I'd like to do mine, but ever since I fried a couple coils on the KR I keep talking my self out of it. It's just dusty and I never pop the hood so I just let it be.

I did that same thing in my old red 5.4. I've never washed an engine since. I just do a basic wipe down now.

Does anyone know of a good website for vehicle sales? Preferably by owner. I've done Auto trader, Cargurus and of course craigslist.

Used to wash the old 5.4 but I put duct tape across the top of the could to keep water out of the holes. The 5.0 s are sealed off very well. I just let the engine cool done the spray with soap and then rinse. I like it to be clean when I go in for oil changed. I wash the engine every 2 or 3 months. Shen it starts to get dusty
