16* here. Getting a couple inches of snow today and 4 or 5" tomorrow. Will it ever end ??

 

I found out today that the hoodlums that held my neighbors at gunpoint a few weeks ago got caught, and due mostly to the victim's father. A man found a check and brought it to my neighbor (I missed something here), he asked the man where he found it, went there, and found the boys' wallets, etc thrown on the ground. Then he took those items in for fingerprints, the cops ran the prints. And turns out the Harris County PD had found the car the thieves used abandoned somewhere. It was reported stolen, but HPD didn't mess with it because no one died, so they didn't care. Well the prints on each matched, Fort Bend looked into it, and found all three of those a$$holes.

I missed a few details to have that really make sense, but that's the gist of it. Funny that those idiots would've gotten away with it if they had just thrown the wallets away instead of throwing them on the ground . . . but then again, they're not stealing from people cause they're geniuses . . .

 

Av had to shovel snow all of my 4 days off. Have a nice 4ft high channel across the back yard to the garage.

The temps have risen thou. The heady -31C we had last week seems like a bad dream now.

Going to head out for the first contractor show later today and it's supposed to snow. Go figure!!

the warmer weather is starting out with ice+snow....

 

+28* right now....supposed to get up to 35-40* today

 

 

Had to drop the truck off this morning for the rearend clunk, and oil change. They tried to give me a 13 Silverado off the used lot has a loaner, asked if they had a ford by chance.. So for today im driving a 13 F250 with the 6.2

 

Watch out driving that big truck!

 

I'm pretty impressed with it, The sound of the 6.2 is amazing.

 

I had a 2000 250 with the 5.4 and that was the best vehicle I ever had...never had to go in the shop for anything in almost 4 yrs. The 6.2 ought to really be a beast!

 

 

Just finished mowing the lawn...77 degrees and it's nice to wear short's and short sleeves again!
