I've got two scouts that I've been coaching, one is one step away, and the other is finished. Very proud of them and your grandson, it's not an easy task

Thanks guys. He is 15 and heavy into outdoor stuff. Especially fishing. His Dad was an Eagle Scout and works with the program. I know his Dad is especially proud of him. In addition, he's just a great kid, but then I may be slightly biased.

I've heard a boy can't become an Eagle Scout unless he's "bagged" a Girl Scout -- is that true......???

Anyone have any experience with the Goodyear Integrity's. Walmart gave me a price of 58 bucks a pop, almost 50 percent off regular price. The impala has some Primewells on it and i dont trust them at all.

The Integrity is a mid-range tire. Not the best, not the worst. We sold a lot of them when I worked at Sears Automotive many moons ago. For that price, and considering it's not your primary transportation, I'd go for it. Especially since they are WAY better than Primewells. Get that garbage off of there.

Thanks John, I think i am going to go for the goodyear's just because of the price. I was looking at the General Altimax Rt43's which is a 75k tire but they are 80 a pop plus shipping plus paying a shop to mount and balance. Totally agree about the primewell crap, they look shot and they have only been on the car for around 25000 miles

$58.00 for decent 16" tires with full warranty -- I'd jump on that and not look back!

i think i may have found a back way into carfax. I found it today and it seemed to work pretty well. Go to mycarfax.com, create your acct then go to the garage and type in the Vin. It gives you service records, oil changes, registration info all for free. I found service records from the cavalier starting from 2004 with 8000 miles on it all the way until last year.

Very nice! That is a lot of work and dedication for a young man, but it puts him in an elite group of people.

My son and Foster son both went the distance to Eagle, and the Troop where I'm assistant Scoutmaster has over 50 Eagles in our 28 year history.

If he is going to go to collage, don't forget to have him put that on his application. Plus it can help with auto insurance with some companies.

My foster son put it on his Navy enlistment and started basic as an E-2 and was E-3 when he finished his basic training.

Congratulations Grandpa!
