Get tired of BBQ, pizza, etc. on my days off, I have coffee when I get up and then usually have a breakfast/lunch about 11:30 or 12:00. Whenever I finally get hungry.

https://www.f150online.com/forums/in...ten-posts.html

someone axed it....and all of his test threads...

the way I read it he was trying to get the required amount of posts to sell his stuff on the classifieds....at least he was trying to follow the rules....imo

Eh, I'm not so sure I agree. Circumventing the rules isn't exactly following them. I suppose it's harmless, but he's manipulating the system.

I will agree with you on the circumventing part the rules part....

what miffed me was that I was trying to post a suggestion on what he could've done but by the time I hit submit the thread was axed....

This is a discussion site with the classified forums added as a convenience for the members. When they were begun there was a concern about people signing up just to sell their junk. The reason the requirement for a certain number of posts before you can use the classifieds was to keep that from happening. This guy no longer has an F150 and admitted he signed up just to get rid if some stuff. Had he joined in discussions, that would have been acceptable. His use of the test forum was spamming.

So no go on the damn end nut Tasca didn't get back to me when I tried to ask how soon I could get them since they were out of stock. Went to Advanced Auto and told them my situation and asked for a castle nut and cotter pins. They got a Moog Tie Rod end for my truck and test fit it until we found one. That's service.

Right, had he done that, it would be a contribution to the site and he would still be here.

Pretty much describes what the Detailing section has devolved into -- relatively few members sharing helpful tips and a whole lot of companies hustling their latest product or promotion......

That only works if your tie rod has a hole through it

Won't the nut still work though? I'm curious if I go to HD and find a good SS nut/washer if that will work. I can't get it in time at this point. They aren't helping at the dealer.
