in the end the shop should've acknowledged the levels and corrected them....
Ultimately it's the drivers responsibility.

It's part of the pre-trip inspection before the driver even puts the key in the ignition in the morning. That's how I found it.......it's not that difficult to go down the checklist checking this stuff.

We had to do a pre-trip inspection over 40 yrs ago when I drove for Texaco. 2 page check off sheet and if something was wrong the mechanic would get on it before the truck left the yard. No chances hauling almost 8,800 gallons of gasoline! I still do a quick pre check on my pickup before leaving...mostly tires and light's. Too bad todays driver's just jump in and go...too lazy or too much in a hurry to take any safety precautions. I agree that it's the driver's responsibility.

that's who I was thinking it was....we had check lists for the trucks and fork lifts at the lumber yard where I worked in my teens and twenties...ultimately it WAS THE DRIVER'S RESPONSIBLY....but on the on the other hand the shops where I've worked would've noted the levels and then topped them off also....

I found many issues during those inspections during the years I drove the buses at school. Even made the bus mechanics look stupid at one point when I found the down pipe off the Turbo had a massive leak. Followed the soot and the AC system sucked in soot. Went on for atleast 6 months. Soot all over the windshield too. I always checked fluids too. Only one who was that thorough.

I'm dealing with a new level of stupid with this shop. When we bring in the trucks for an oil change we have to specifically tell them to put new filters on. Talked to the boss (dad) when and I got back even though he didn't show I think he's more pissed about it than I am.

Drivers side lca is in. Took me from 8:15 or so until 1am. Have to finish putting the brakes back on. Didn't see bushing damage but my tie rod boot was done dry as was the lower bj. Took care of the tie rod buy I'm nervous. I didn't see bushing damage on that side. It looked OK other than the boots and the lower bj being looser than the new one. The passenger side bangs louder so we'll see what I find. Just want to stop having steering/suspension issues. I'm so fed up

Just got back from getting the front windows tinted...went with the 35% ceramic. Don't know what took me so long to get it done!

Passenger side sway bar endlink is welded to a straight line. Supposed to articulate in the middle. Can't move it. Hit a bump it provably hits the bar and bangs it hard. Not gonna go any farther. Bushings seem fine. Gonna go get a new one.
