We are supposed to get them late this afternoon. We need the rain. A lot of the lakes are getting to a critical stage.

Going turn in the rental and then pick up my truck at the body shop. After that go and pick up my daughter's dog at the vet. Over a hundred mile round trip.

Got a good storm last night.. 82 mph wind, hail and about 5 mins of rain. We lucked out though it literally passed us 2 miles to the west.. Going in town this morning there was trees down, bill boards snapped and roofs rolled up.

So far this year we are sitting a 1/2 inch of rain.. Not been a good year.. Only have one lake left that has water in it and its at 45 percent capacity.

Most of the Concho is dry, even though a little water still runs through town.

The whole state is pretty much in a drought, going to be a rough summer if we don't get some substantial run off rains real soon.

Jeez. I didn't realize you guys were so dry over there in the whole state. It rains here pretty much everyday.

I did hear some areas of Texas were going to have to resort to recycling waste water

Nearly all the Texas lakes are at about 65% or less. They are predicting that Lake Travis, Austin's water supply and recreational center will be dry by 2016.

Yup Wichita Falls is going to do it, now San Angelo is thinking about it. We have 10 months of water left if no runoff occurs.
