Just got home from Athens. The traffic was horrible. At least the music was good.

Typo, Kevin Gordon. Do yourself a favor and check those guys out. Some good music. Don't get much better than "Ain't Going Down to the Well No More"

The old lady's birthday is tomorrow, and as usual I've waited until the last minute to get her something. Any ideas? I usually come up with something cool on short notice but my creativity seems to be lacking this year

^ DO IT!!!

Funny thing with gifts is that I'm usually a lot better about getting them for GFs than I am with family, friends, or anyone else. I still absolutely hate trying to come up with gift ideas though. I wish I could pay 3 times as much just to have it be someone else's problem haha.

Agreed. The whole concept of gift giving is tedious to me. But I'm sure I'll come up with something...

I'd make her a nice dinner... does she have a favorite meal? And maybe something she wanted. I'm not into material gifts. I don't even like getting them. I'd rather cook or something like that and just have a nice day together. Do what she wants.
