Cold this morning! 37, but will warm up to mid 70s.

 

Couple more hours and then I'm off back to the land of corn and corruption.

 

With yesterday being the last day of the month, it felt like a Friday. I don't want to do a darn thing today.

 

Pricing out new trucks is expensive XLT 2wd with a few options runs 39 for Scab and 42 for Screw


Still trying to convince the wife that an Excursion is a good idea/deal

 

Yeah the new truck prices are crazy

 

Glad I bought mine when I did and don't have to think about a new one.

 

My daughter likes her Excursion. Her's is a 7.3, I know you were looking for a V10.

It is, but not for the price he is asking. Buddy of mine did a frame off himself of a '79 F250 Custom and couldn't get bites on it for 12k, which the truck was easily worth. Under 100k and he was the second owner, purchased from his girlfriend's grandfather.

 

I think that truck is at least in the right ballpark though. That guy wanting close to $40k was insane.


Except that the actual cost for a 2WD screw is about $30k even, or less, which isn't bad.
