We actually talked about someone doing that around here while we were on the range Saturday. We shoot primarily steel targets using cardboard silhouettes for anything less than 10 yards so no one catches any spray off the steel or if we have a stage that is scored on hits to different zones of the target.

I did try to shoot a shiloh sharps rifle in a 1000 yard competition once....that was not fun...patience was the key to shoot one of those at that distance....something I didn't have a lot of back then....
