Got the chrome ripped off the bottom of the truck today. Started at 11:30 this morning and got done around 8. If I never had to do that again it'd be too soon.

Hows it look underneath MTM? any ghosting? I took a pinstripe off one of my old trucks and the ghosting was horrible.

There's a small ding on the drivers door and 2 small ones on the passenger door. You don't see them unless you're right at the door and looking for them.

My thumbs are killing me from peeling that double sided tape off. I did the drivers side fender and half of the door before I went and got the 3M Adhesive Remover. That stuff does wonders.

There's none at all. You can't even tell it was there now. I was afraid of it ghosting too which is why I was kind of hesitant to take it off.

After I was done I clay barred it, buffed it and waxed it. They must have been on there since the truck was almost new because there's not a swirl mark where they were.

I have one crappy cell phone pic. I'm going to wash it tomorrow and take better pics. When I got home it was about dark.

It looks way better now. Everything flows together.

I also hit one of the flares with a heat gun. It did bring it back to life but don't touch it right after you take the heat gun away, it puts a big smudge on it and you can't get rid of it.

I priced the front ones from Ford. $80 a piece for the front I didn't even ask about the back ones.

Don't they use double sided tape to stick to the fender? I'm about sick of that stuff, I don't want anymore!
