I painted half the frame with Rustoleum earlier this summer but lost the motivation Since I'm off 3 more days I guess this would be a good time to do it as long as it isn't raining........like it's suppose to.

rust (like fire) only happens when it has access to oxygen smother it and the problem is gone

I've got to agree, if I ever had one of my trucks rear ended I'd go with a roll pan as well

the interior "touches" on that '02 are nice as well

Replied Pat.

That roll pan still looks like a bumper, and looks great doing it.

I got to compare the EB and the 5.0 yesterday, on test drives. The EB was impressive to me from the standpoint that it's a small V6 putting out that power, but it did not feel anymore powerful than the 5.0. In fact, it had one very annoying feature to me. When you punched it to pass, you had to wait for it's response. It would take off slowly and then kick in. I liked the instant resonse from the 5.0 much better. The soulnd of the V6 did not bother me as much as I expected. The drives settled it for me, I liked the 5.0 much better. I can even change the plugs on it.

The XLTs with the special package is really a nice truck. Very quiet. I really like the interior and the put insulation back under the hood. Still hate the exterior, though.

Reminds me of the batmobile or something for some reason.

the 5.0 with an intake manifold swap and some boost will lay some serious smack down on the ecoboost

Sounds like a wise choice IMO. Not sure what you can do about the exterior. Personally I think the 3/4 and 1 ton 4x4's don't look bad. The Raptors look great. Iduno, if I'm going to spend it, I want to be able to look at it lol.

Maybe it'll grow on yuh.
