That's crazy. My key had a little sticker residue on it but I wiped it off with my thumb. That was all that was "wrong" with mine. I'm sure he's going to take care of it for you.

Mine looked like it had been used for a year. The weird part was...it was a blank He is sending a new one to rectify the screw up. The key was also outa kilter with the remote part (wasn't straight)

Yeah, there's a way to replace the metal part I believe. The front of my key looked new, but that battery cover fit loosely and was pretty beat up. Hopefully my "new" one will be coming today or tomorrow.

Damn you! I'm still waiting for mine.
I better get it today. I'm sure it got to Dallas before it got to Florida on it's way from California. I guess he probably shipped them the same day. Glad to hear that it's a new one though.

It's quite easy. It's in the owners manual, I can't remember which page off the top of my haed though. I'll post it later if you don't find it.
You need to cycle the key 8 times from the 1 to 3 position, and then press one button on each remote.
I programmed the used key I got just to see if it worked, and it did. Now I just need to get my new one (it better be waiting in my mailbox) and go get it cut and I'll be happy as a .

EDIT: you also need to have ALL of your remotes with you, because when you program a new it's like you rest them, so you need to have them all with you and press a button on all of them so that they will all work. It took me a couple of times to get it right.
