I dont care...It will probably take two weeks...But, when I receive it, I will have forgotten that I ordered it, and it will be a nice surprise.

Did you post instructions? Or does it come with them on how to program?

Cool

I'm pretty sure Craz3D did this for his truck too.

I actually got mine in three days.

Yes, I posted the instructions that I used for my car to program the key as well as the fob. I'm thinking they should be the same. The seller doesn't include the instructions but if you email them they will send you the directions.

I kinda like the fob and the key to be seperate items, but our Fusion, and now the Edge, both have the big-headed key.

I had an '08 Escape as a rental vehicle this past week and it had the Fusion key as well.

Personally, I prefer the seperate FOB and key set-up, but to each his own. I guess the good news is that if the Fusion key can be programmed for a Mustang or F-150, it probably works the other way around as well -- if I bought a new Ford with the "big" key I could probably get an old key and FOB set-up and program them to work with the new ride......

Most Wal-Mart's will cut them for free provided you understand that if it's cut wrong you're on your own......

Thumper said that he got it done at the Ford dealer for $5. The auction says that since it's not a "high security" key, that it can be cut almost anywhere, and lists Home Depot as a possible place. I'll be taking mine to Ford if it's only $5 just to make sure some *** hat doesn't ruin my $50 key. At least if Ford screws it up they're more likely to replace it since it is one of their keys.
