They are CMCV delete plates. I've had them sitting here for weeks since my last car show.

I'll finally getting around to getting them installed and the car tuned next week.

I was having some waranty work done on my truck and while I was there I asked the guy at the parts counter how much to just cut the key. I told him I could do all the prgramming and stuff. At first he couldn't understand that I could do the programming, and then after I explained what I was doing he said they'd cut the key for free.
Can't wait until it gets here.

Sweet, he probably figured had it not been for you he wouldn't of known about using the Fusion key. How much do you want to bet he has a F150 !?

I didn't tell him I was using it on an F150. First he gave me 35 different prices for keys and programming. Finally I had to be like, "No, I just want a blank Ford key cut. I have the key. I don't need it programmed, just cut." Then he was like "Oh, we can do that for free I guess." I think I had him confused.

I just bought one through a guy here in the classifieds. Got it cut at the dealer today for free. Programmed this afternoon when i got back home. Works great! So far it looks like the key works on the Fusion, Escape, F150, and the Mustang. Im guessing any ford car/truck that has the newer PATS system the key will work.

Sweet, thanks Thumper! Maybe it works for the 08 Super Duty too, since it's the first Super Duty to have a PATS key. My key could match my wife's Edge key.

I got my key in the mail today. 3 days, super fast. The thing that pissed me off though... IT'S USED!!!!!!!
I emailed the guy and he's sending me a new one, then he wants me to send the old one back. Said they got a bad batch and he set them aside, but the shipper goofed. I'm happy they're making it right though.
And I don't feel I should have to pay return shipping because of their mistake. I explained that to him, I'll see what he says. What can they do if I don't return it? Because I'm not paying shipping twice. They already charged me $15.

On a side note, before he replied to me I went out and programmed the remote part to see if I could, and it worked great. Now I can't wait to get the new one cut and programmed.

Contact the seller. They're awesome with communication. He's refunding me half of my original shipping costs and send me out a (suposedly) brand new one. Then I just have to return the old one. I'm happy they're making it right, but still pissed off at the added aggervation. I guess that's the price to pay for a good deal.

Kind of makes me wonder if they don't just try and pass off slightly used keys to most and then just make the ones that complain happy by sending them a real "new" key. Mine is just slightly used, but enough that I can tell. Less **** people probably wouldn't even notice.

I noticed a nick on the front right away. Even though the key is uncut, the metal part looks used, and it looks like there is rust on the plastic grooves. WTF? It said new in the description. Are ya gonna send the old one back?

As long as he refunds me back 1/2 of my original shipping costs I will. I'm not sure if there's anything they can do if I don't send it back, but I don't want them charging my credit card again, plus I don't want to be a *****. I'm definitely waiting until I get the new one though. If this "new" one is also used then screw them, I'll keep them both.

Just got an email from the key guy. He said something about a bad batch...whatever. I guess that I will wait and see what the next shipment brings. Hopefully all is on the up and up. I did check his ebay rating. 99.9 percent of his buyers seem happy. Maybe it was a bad batch. Wait and see
