Don't glorify yourself. You wouldn't last 35 days on my job. I could do your job with ease.
Stealth, thanks for taking pride in your work, 'cause if one of those things comes apart flying over my state I could be in deep pooh! Calculating altitude and speed, if it came apart in another state, I could be in deep pooh too!

You're working with a known product, set instructions, with assemblies going together on queue. Somehow, I seriously doubt it's that difficult. I'm sure there's a learning curve involved, but I bet it's about as flat as Texas is big. And with Big Momma Union covering for me if/when I screw up, I think I'd do okay short of burning the building to the ground.
And given enough time, money, dedication, and a little (or maybe a lot of) trial and error, we all can be replaced.

Much can be accomplished with time and money. I am trying to train a monkey to do my job. No luck yet. But then, I am not a monkey trainer.

What else do you know about what I do on my job? Maybe I can learn something.

I won't ask about your job, everyone knows what auto mechanics do.

Okay, you win, I've had enough fun this time around. I guess I'll never be worthy of understanding the Brotherhood of the Union Greatness. It's beyond my vision. I am not worthy, for every question us lowly non-union serfs ask, we do not deserve an answer, because we'll never understand, no matter what, so we shall continue in our union bashing since no union members will ever try to set us straight. I bow in your mightiness.

Take what you know. You're in manufacturing, so am I (automated manufacturing engineer). You work for a large US company, I work for a global company. In my sector, unions would do nothing but harm us and the company itself.
I'm just curious what you feel in order to make that statement.
