So do you feel any bigger?

I do not talk to disrespectful goons.

Quintin doesn't want me to reply to anything non UAW in this thread. I'll respect his limited wisdom.

OK, I and many others have already done such in the plethora of other union threads where you union bashers have bashed union workers.

Know how to use the search feature? It's simple.

In construction I would say it is because a tradesmen serves a 4 or 5 year apprenticeship, depending on the trade, with Journeyman upgrade classes. I am not familiar with unions that represent manufacturing plants, so I can't address that.

I don't know if I could live with myself, doing a job repetitively that's akin to assembling Big Macs at McDonald's.

Part "A" into slot "B." Over, and over, and over, and...

I am thankful somebody performs those jobs in the U.S.
I don't believe I want our defense contractors sending that work overseas or Mexico.
Should I call somebody a name at this point? Nah......

It's assembly. It doesn't matter if you're putting together burgers, F150s, or fighter jets, it's all basically the same. You're working on a known product, using a set of instructions, with parts hung on queue. You're a warm body. Don't glorify it.
