ManualF150's Beer Thoughts...
Hoegaarden
Delicious witbier. A guy I worked with some time ago turned me on to this. From Belgium. Citrus/spice notes. Quite sedimentary. I break this out when I want something "more" than just straight beer. I recommend not drinking it out of a bottle but instead taking the time to pour it out into a glass - The taste GREATLY changes when glassware is involved.

Dark, dark beer. Creamy head. Smooth as can be.
Verdict = This is the best beer ever IMO. The taste is so smooth for a dark beer. Slightly mild carmel flavor. Creamy and delicious. Bottle or can its all good. Even better if you can find it on tap. Truely liquid bread. I can't say enough good things. Always tastes fresh, which is hard to find with an import. 9.99 out of 10. The closest thing to a perfect beer that I have ever found. This is the beer that I compare all other beer to.

Banned! That's what the highschool kids drink cuz it's dirt cheap.
Here's what I've got in the fridge right now...

Full Moon is Blue Moon's winter beer. Not too bad, but not my favorite.
The Harpoon UFO is a good solid Heffe.
The Black Hawk Stout is a really good, really dark stout originally from CA, but now they have a brewery in NY.
My favorite of this bunch is the Breckenridge Vanilla Porter. It's a strong porter with hints of vanilla (obviously) and it's very smooth. Only available in the winter months!
