How about we highlight attempts at jokes and sarcasm from now on, shall we?
Or is that too much for your pea brain to comprehend?

You would have to highlight everything he ever posts.

You have to admit, it would be a neat rule.

You could say anything you want and dance away, as long as it was red.

You get reported to the mods and Rockpick says,
"I can't touch him, it's all in red. Either it's sarcasm or it's supposed to be funny. Sorry pea brain."

LOL!

Not EVERYTHING I post is a joke/failed attempt at a joke...I'd say AT LEAST 10-15% of my posts have no joking manner to them at all
Why would you think I said it in jest? The red was not needed!

Yes History will remember him well. I wonder how many other things slip past without so much as a word.

Now here are two scenarios for you to consider:

1. We build our empire. We nation build. We continue to impose our views on a global landscape. Those who resent our views build us up as the great satan. To fund their radical views, the extremists point to our meddling as proof we are out to get them. They goad us into a fights we can't win. We burn valuable resources fighting these people. We die from the inside as our global support and respect widdles away to nothing. Our country collapses under the weight of the empire we attempt to maintain.

2. We build our nation. We mind our own business. We let others decide their own path. We become that far away nation that buys their oil. Why would they want to attack us? There are backsliding Muslims and Jews to get. Our respect around the world grows as we are a super power that uses our power to increase trade not to increase influence.

I know which option I prefer.
yep---what he said!

Cute but a tad optimistic. If they poke us and we don't do anything, then their rallying cry is we are cowards and will be easy to overthrow. A normal person would prefer 2, but normal people don't purposly drive airplanes into buildings. Their big kick to start the whole thing off is we would fight for awhile and back out like we did in Vietnam, which seems to be what everyone wants to do.

My one concern is this: Let's say we are waging war against terrorism. and, by killing a terrorist, two more take his place. While we may have immediate results in killing the one---long term---we have caused even greater problems, right?

By killing them, can't the jihadists use our own methodology against us through the use of propaganda?

By killing one, is it possible that we are planting more terrorists "seeds"?
