21-11-5
.568 winning percentage

Dallasota's record
50-25-7

So based on this, Dallasota has a rougher time playing against the better teams than Detroit does. Does this really mean anything? No. You can throw all kinds of different stats out there to make one team look better or worse, depending on your motives. Detroit didn't make the schedule. They just play the teams on the schedule no matter how good or bad they are. If they had to play more tougher teams than they did, would their record be worse? Maybe. Would they not make the playoffs? No.

The only thing that matters now is the playoffs and the team you're playing at the time. A hot goalie can make the best team look totally frustrated and change a series. Detroit knows this pretty well from some past experiences.
Good points. This hockey fan-dom, it's an illness we both suffer from, but one thing remains, my team of choice is called the DALLAS Stars. You continue to call them by some personally made up acronymic term, but I guess you have personal hangups with many issues from looking at things.

I wish we (Stars) could score just 2, maybe 3, the damn Rangers score 7. Must have been fun for them.

i havent watched the rangers dominate a game like that in years, (they did it for all 60 minutes).

i should have taped that just to prove it really happened.

i expected them to win this series, but never would have thought it would be a 3-0 lead at this point.

they have been alot more fun to watch since sather cleaned house a few years back.
