San Jose is going to be VERY tough....:o

At least they aren't a bunch of goons like Calgary.

Or I might go to Dallas instead, IF they win... Dallas is a little closer to me than Detroit...
Looks like it will have to be Detroit.

Dallas is out. BTW, what the he!! were the refs smoking with half of them penalty calls, what a joke, all it does is slow down the game and allow the special teams to dominate. At least the Detroit/Calgary series had some grit.

I blame the Refs. What a debacle. Refs shouldn't have a hand in any game's outcome.

The officiating in the NHL these days is absolutely horrible. I can't believe that in every series, in every game, there are phantom calls (usually 2 or 3) where everyone, even the announcers say "there was no penalty there, I don't know what the ref was thinking", then resulting in a PP goal. IMO it is ruining the playoffs this year, and ruining the NHL as a whole.

I can't tell you how many times in the Detroit/Calgary series when player A taps player B on the thigh with his stick and the refs call a hooking/holding penalty!?!? It's like watching a basketball game or something.

You know when they compare the teams' stats and numbers before each series? Well, they seriously need to add a stat column for phantom calls. I honestly believe that the officiating alone has had an effect on the outcome of the first round of the playoffs this year, which is absolute BS.

Yeah, some of those calls in the Det / Cgy series resulted in Det not sweeping the Flames. Oh well, they won it anyway...

Even though I'm a Wings fan, what you just said is much more fact than fiction It's amazing how a Canadian crowd can influence Canadian refs.

I don't think its the crowd. The crowd is very loud in most buildings in the league with a few exceptions, especially in the playoffs.
There were some phantom calls on Vancouver last night as well, but IMO, not as many as were called on Dallas.
