Some people harbor ill will towards unions and their members. They just don't have a clue how unions care for their members.

I design and sell large combustion equipment for refineries and chemical plants. I'm currently the world leader in a very, very narrow field!

Wonder why a Ford truck, JD tractors, Cat dozer, and so on cost so much? Get rid of the unions and the mfg. cost would easily be cut in half. Talk about a way to stimulate the economy. Everyone could aford a new truck. There are places that actually could use unions, but if you take the greed out of it the world would be a beter place.

Here we go again. If you're such a unionbuster genius, why haven't you done anything about it? That's right, didn't think you really cared. Begin your rant here.

Oh lord please don't start a union thing again.

Union workers love unions because they don't know any better and union workers do actually get paid more than they are worth.

Union haters hate unions because they drive the cost of everything up while offering fake help to their members.

If you can't make the money you are making now without the union, then you really aren't worth the money you are making. You are using extortion and blackmail to hold the company you work for up for more money. Congrats

Besides one of unions biggest supporters was the joker recently banned, that alone should show the folly of your ways.

Haven't we already cleared this up.

Well that pretty much sums it up. Great post.

Let me give you an example. Here at the local John Deere works, if a worker is expected to make 50 pcs in 8 hours they will make 50 pcs in 8 hours. If it takes them 6 hours to complete the 50 pcs they take the other 2 hour to play cards, go the the company gym to workout, whatever. They are afraid that if they make 60 pcs in 8 hours the company will raise the quota making the workers actually have to work for a full eight hours. If all you union worker deny this you are lieing.

4 weeks vacation? Do you really think they have earned it. I don't think so.

I didn't mean to start a fight. I work out of a union hall. That means I can work for many different contractors. I have done my fill of comming in after the scabs to clean up their messes. We get paid for the quality of our work. If you want to pay for a product made by a scab that is your perogative. My money will go back to the union worker, when I can. This is just my opinion, and you can have your opinion. Thats why its called America... I do agree some union members do cause some problems.
