Bought new car...

With all these threads about going to a gas friendly car...I went the other way! I bought a brand new BMW M5 the other day. Its my daily driver now...I still have the truck so I am still a loyal Ford guy!

Man your life sucks LOL M5's are like hookers on the street. They get around fast and you live in SD, We stayed their last spring break for 3 weeks at my roomies brothers house in OB about 2 blocks from the beach, we got to cruise around in his porsche around sunset cliffs alot . It was an awesome trip

Agreed. You're telling me you expect us to believe that you bought a car with a base MSRP of $82,500 with no options added? Add those cool lookin wheels, the tint, and the most common options, and you're up around $100k. So you can afford a $100,000 car and the gas to feed a 5.0L V10 engine? If so, must be nice to be you.

I'm calling your bluff.

My aunt purchased the same car [same color: Black Sapphire Metalic] two weeks ago today: 2007 BMW M5 Sedan which she paid pennies under 90K.

I got a chance to drive it last Wednesday and creamed my pants beyond explaination.

I never understood what BMW's cath-phrase meant until about 2:30PM last Wednesday: they really are "Engineered like no other car."

Safe driving and congratulations.

He bought it from the same guy that installed and then removed his Dana 60 rear end that he didnt get any pics of.....

Take a pic of it beside your truck and I will believe it...well not even then but at least it will be MORE believable.

Haha...you are right...its not mine, its my moms. I hate her. She owns a couple businesses so its nothing for her. I drove it the other night downtown and holy crap do girls love this car. She paid $102,450. It was funny we rolled up in my truck to the dealership and the salesman complimented my truck and said he had a 2006 Lariat like mine and wanted to know everything about it. My mom did say I can borrow it whenever I want...Im stoked.

$102k is insanity. It's probably worth $80k trade in now. I would never buy a car like that, only lease. Ever.

Then why did you post it was yours in the opening post?

Bye-bye credibility.
