Don't waste your time worrying about it man. Move on. If she's hiding her b/f from her mom, do you think she'd actually go out with someone her mom set her up with? Trust me when I say that a lot of mothers and daughters just don't get along. Most of the time the unruly daughter will go against her mother's wishes just to spite her. If I had to guess I'd say she's "screwing around" with an older guy, and she doesn't want her mother to know about it. My advice would be, if you're looking for a serious relationship, look elsewhere.

I'm guessing it's B.

Even Moms that don't get along with their daughters have a faint idea if their daughter is seeing a guy without telling them or hiding it. Parents are NOT stupid (for the most part, I'm refering to parents that are actually around).

This girl is just crazy nervous. It's not worth pushing her more or texting her or things like that. That will just push her off more. Taking another girl on a date to her resturants is a good/confidence boosting idea. I mean who doesn't like giving the metaphorical middle finger to someone else that pissed them off?

However, if this girl doesn't know what you look like then it'd be hard for her to recognize your metaphorical finger.

I'd just relax, find a girl your friends with, that you can have fun with, and ask her. You won't end up dating anyone you take to this dance, but going to this dance is IMPORTANT.

It gets you into that environment where more girls will SEE YOU. When they see you having fun (this is crucial) they will see you as a source of fun and gravitate towards you.

Highschool girl attracting is far different from real life or college. Girls are not out there looking for a guy with cash that can be a main "squeeze" for them. You're living with parents, so it's not necessary at that stage. You don't have to worry about the money grubbers till later. Right now girls around you are looking to have fun.

If you go to that dance with someone your comfortable with and friends, you'll be more likely to be fun instead of "oh crap, I don't want to do anything wrong to turn my young Jessica Simpson date off".

When girls at the dance see this, they'll see confidence and someone who is fun to be around.

Future girl attracting will be much easier for you. Consider that dance a testing ground for future hunting. You and the girls are both looking to see where the next good catch is. This is called recon.

I'd advise against Josiahs idea. This may work for him, but if you're normally a quiet guy and not a drinker (which there is nothing wrong with), then this could back fire in a HUGE way and lead to far worse results with the girls then it could positives with them.

Best O' Luck

Duke

Yeah I thought the same thing, but then thought maybe I missed something so I let it go.

95... I'm 6' 8", since you asked... LOL.
And ditto on the drunken party. I know when my current fiance still lived in Georgia she came out to visit, that night we were having a party at my apartment that my roommate was throwing. by the time she got there, put her stuff away and called her folks to say she arrived ok, I was ****faced. She still scolds me about it to thsi day and that was like 3 years ago.

No I called her twice no answer. Second time I left a message asking if she would like to go to dinner sat. night. Me thinking its in the bag posted this before it was finalized. Then it backfired. She texted me like 30 minutes after I left the msg and we talked for a little while and apparently she isn't interested. I guese its just not in the cards for me.

Ok how do I type like Mattineer. I don't do stuff like runnin down the road at mach 1 and slam on the E brake. Oh are Mattineer and I typing alike?

If you were going to lie you should've at least said you met her, had dinner, had desert, had breakfast, and went on your merry way.
What are you talking about I never said any of that.

Hey at least if it doesn't work out you'll never wonder "what would have happened if I'd called her..." Trust me you'll feel good about it years later .

Yea well its off to my next project. Probably ought to stick with girls in my school. I just figured it was a done deal since her mom was pretty much beggin my mom to get me to take her out on a date. I mean it was a perfect situation. It would have been her first date so both of us would have been equally nervous and didn't know what to expect.
