Wow, that is never good to hear. I hope and pray for the best.

and a side question, is it a medically induced coma due to the bleeding? Or natural?

This coma is not medically induced and the doctor would really like to see him come out of it, but not as much as our family would. My dad is a really tough guy and I know that he will be fighting as long as he can. The good news for today is that he is still alive. He is moving part of his body spontaneously and also responding to external stimuli. This continues to be positive, but we are really looking forward to him opening his eyes.

He continues to run a fever and we are not sure yet if he has an infection or if it is something neurologic.

Continue to say prayers and hopefully he will continue to improve.

Jeremy

By the way... GO HOGS!

Tell ya what, by coming to these boards asking for help is a very smart thing to do. I'm still new here, but awhile back I came and asked for help for my friends son, crazy how good these people are and how caring.

My prayers are sent for your dad and your family. I hope all goes well.

Remember, these boards may just show alot of screenames and such, but there are real people behind each and everyone of them and they are good, caring people that have "got your back"!!
