One of our customers has a 95 150, the thing routinely hauls more than it was meant to (she has a company that refurbs storage tanks and pipelines for the gas company) and it's in better shape than mine rust wise (as in none) with over 300K.
Most of the problems I hear about with Ford trucks right now have nothing to do with the workmanship, it's a matter of poorly designed parts, cheap metal etc. Ford in general is simply suffering from poor marketing guidance, making vehicles people don't want, and the unions have no reason to share any blame in that.
