You beat us by 3 degrees....

DFW International was 87 degrees at 6:05 AM...

On my way to work, it was 93 (8:57 AM).

High for today: 105, with a heat index near 115.
Considering the fact that the sun is stil behind the clouds, and it's 93 already, I'm pretty sure we'll go over 105 today, with a solid 10 hours and 13 minutes of heating left, before the sun goes down.

Rain Gods, let's get busy... Come knock about 20 of these degrees off...

Man, I miss Arizona, at least we had a monsoon season in August... Rained everyday from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM; by 5:00 PM, it looked as if it had never rained. Here in North, Central & West Texas, if you see rain from June 15th - October 15th, consider yourself lucky. (Except those that live on the gulf coast and East Texas, they get a lot more rain than we do.

Trust me... Havasu can beat anywhere (EXCEPT Death Valley, CA)

Monsoon season started earlier this year, so it's now hotter than Hades and humid. I'm sweating at my desk right now because of the humidity.

I just got back from my aunt's lake house in the desert (I was thinking the same thing), and at 10AM it was a lovely 111*. You could get out of the lake and be completely dry in less than 3 minutes. Is it bad when clothes dry faster outside than they do in the dryer?
