Texas is just weird... I remember doing PT at Fort Hood at 6:30 AM, and feeling a little cool, thankful for the sweats, kinda wishing I didn't have to have the gloves.

Then, and 9:00 AM WOrk-call formation, Freezing our butts off, and in a hurry to get out of Formation to go do something, preferably- something INSIDE.

This was the first place I'd been where the weather ROUTINELY, got COLDER as the day went on...

What do you call real heat? Hersh claimed 100 degrees down in Texas. I have no doubt we'll be that hot come tomorrow.

The heat here is amplified by humidity, the THI is always hotter than actual temperature. Not much humidity up in your neck of the woods.

Back in August of 1999, I was sent down to New Orleans to look at a plant for our company. Now being a Pennsylvania boy, 90 degrees is freakin hot. We flew into the airport at about 11:00 pm. Those terminal doors slid open for us to grab the shuttle bus and it was like someone smacked you in the face with a tennis racket. It was 95 degrees but the humidity was like 200%. I swear you could take your hand and cut out a block of hot wet air and carry it around with you. It was insane. During the day it was 100+ and humid as h3ll.

I have to hand it to you southern boys who can stand the heat, there is no way in h3ll I could live down there. Give me a nice 30 degree fall morning any day.

No spank you.

Unfortunately it is suppose to be in the 90's all weekend here in northwest PA. People are freakin out.

Just about 90 degrees here. But with the humidity, you either have to be in a pool or the air condition. It's brutal. Think I'll head out to the pool in a few.

Thats what kills us here in Southern Indiana...Humidity is horrible. The weather changes from minute to minute. One Minute it is pouring down rain the next it is sunny out. Southern Indiana Weather is so wierd. I know what you mean about the heat thing you go in the shade here it just means your out of the sun its no cooler. The summers here is hot hot hot and the winters are cold cold cold....I like to cold better. I love sleeping in a cold room. I sometimes bring a fan in my room and run it on high even if the air is on...I hate being hot but like being a little cold its easier to sleep in lol. What sucks even worse about the heat here is I have leather seats...so cold in the winter and so hot in the summer...I actually have to start my truck up and let it cool off in the summer time and start it up and let it warm up in the winter....

Yea it was like 90 degrees and a humidity of 70%. I'll check what it is right this second. Its 86 with a humidity of 63%...It feels like 93 and thier is like no wind to cool it off either. It feels a lot hotter than 93 you walk out side and you are instantly sweating.

And mine was $84.15 with the AC on 24/7. Either ya'll are living in some mansions or the cost of electricity around the country is a lot more than it is here.
